Nolan Dale Russell, Jr., beloved husband, father and grandpa, passed away peacefully at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC on May 8, 2017. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 8, 1944 to the late Nolan Dale, Sr. and Edith Malcolm Russell.
As he departs this world, Nolan will live on in the hearts of his wife of 48 years, Marie C. Russell (van Gelder) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his son, Marcus A. Russell and grandchildren, Antoine Russell, Luis Diaz, and Kimberly Sanchez of Suffield, CT; his brothers and their wives, Jim & Sharon Cofer of Osceola, MO, and Walt & Nicola Cofer of Kansas City, MO., and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Nolan was employed by Hartford Steam Boiler for 35 years and was member of the US Navy Submarine Service from 1966 until his retirement in 1974.
The Russell family would like to specially thank St. Francis Cancer Center in Hartford, CT for their loving care given during a long and courageous battle, and to Dr. Syed Bilgrami and his entire staff.
A Celebration of Nolan’s life will be held at a later date.

It's with great sadness we read about nolans passinn today. He was always a joy to have in our dealership and we all need to pattern our lives after him. I lost my dad recently and these times are tough however the support of family and friends all help. Marie my heart goes out to you he was a trrrific man He's in a much better place now. Xoxoxox
