Jacqueline “Jackie” P. Holliday Barber, 70, of Murrells Inlet passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Angel House Hospice Care Center in Whiteville, NC.
Born on September 19, 1946 in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Gordon “Jack” H. and Winifred Clegg Holliday and was preceded by her sister, Gail Ghinis and a brother Gary Holliday. Mrs. Barber had retired from Barnaba and Maconi Law Firm in Trenton after many years of service. She loved her friends from NJ and spending time with them. Thank you to all who came to the hospice house to see her.
Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Thomas “Tom” R. Barber, Sr.; son, Thomas “Tommy” R. Barber, Jr of Atlanta, GA, Michael Barber (Annette) of Myrtle Beach, Matthew Barber of Ewing Township, NJ; daughter, Lori Piazza (Sal) of Lawrenceville, NJ; seven grandchildren, Matthew Jr, Sammy, Alexzander, Carly, Ashley, Alexis and Michael and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Jacqueline’s name to Angel House Hospice Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.

To the family: Just wanted to tell you how much I loved her! Such a fun lively and strong women, yet incredibly sweet an fragile at the same time. Above all, she was full of love and laughter! I see aspects of her in all of you. Be gentle with yourselves and each other. My thoughts are with you. One step at at time.

Jackie will be sadly missed by all her knew and loved her. She was a very caring friend and I will always remember her sense of humor and friendship to me. My sincere condolences to her loving husband, children and grandchildren.
