We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Chet. We lived on Dawn Dr from 1969 to 1972. We returned to Glenville in 1981 and downsized to Clifton Park in 2013. Our prayers and sympathy are with you at this difficult time.
Blessings, Gerry & Jerry Havasy

I hope you have found Uncle Mike and he is your guide in the afterlife. I’m sure he will show you his favorite fishing spots and you will be able to go to them after praising our Divine God.

We met Chet and Nancy at St. Michael's church in Garden City, SC, nine years ago. We began to sit in the same pew as them and on one Sunday we arrived a little later than usual. On the pew were books that were laid out put there by Chet so that nobody could sit there, he was saving the seats for us. This is when our friendship began. He took care of everybody around him by saving seats or handing out the church bulletins. He was also an usher for seating and collections. He loved to help out and that just goes to show how much of a giving and caring person he was. Chet was a joker too and we had many laughs with him. If something came to his mind he said it, just like that! Both Nelson and I are so saddened by his loss. We looked forward to seeing Chet and Nancy on Sundays at church. He will forever live in our minds and there will be a big void without Chet. Nancy and family, our sincere condolences to all of you and I can assure you, Chet is looking down at all of us smiling and if he could send us all a message, he will be saying " Don't worry about me, I'm at home now, so live your lives to the fullest and until we meet again". RIP Chet, we are going to miss you big time and we love you. Love from Sandra and Nelson Gomes.

Chet and Nancy were close friends with me and Jim over the more than 50 years that we knew them. Now Chet and Jim can continue their friendship in another place, maybe at that casino in the sky. My sincerest condolences to the whole family, Nancy, John and Tammy, Holly and Eric, and Victoria and Ashlynn. I love all of you.
