Mr. Dennis A. McCabe, age 68, of Myrtle Beach, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1949 in Menominee, MI to the late Mr. Bernard McCabe and the late Mrs. Norma McCabe, and was also preceded in death by his brother, David McCabe. Mr. McCabe was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army in Korea during Vietnam. His father served in the Army during WWII, and his brother served in Vietnam. He was a Broker Associate for Garden City Realty since 1999.
Mr. McCabe is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Nancy A. McCabe of Myrtle Beach, a Broker Associate at Surfside Realty since 1986 ; His Son, Erik A. Schwanz (& Lisa) of Cornelius, NC ; His Daughter, Kerry A. Schwanz of Myrtle Beach ; His Sister, Suzy Schneider (& Ronald) of Menominee, MI ; and three Grandchildren, Julia, Kate, & Max.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Dennis A. McCabe will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden City Chapel, 316 N. Dogwood, Garden City Beach, SC, 29576.
Memorials may be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society, 3241 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Very Sorry for loss, may God wrap his arms around all of you during this time of healing. We were neighbors back in the early 80's, I lived behind you on 8th Ave. S. and I was one of Kerry's classmates (Christine Wood).
