Henry “Randy” Mayrant Harrison, 63, passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side on Sunday December 31, 2017 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. He was born on December 20, 1954 in Florence, SC to the late Thomas J. Harrison Sr. and Janette Truluck Harrison.
Survivors include his wife Janice Davis Harrison of Murrells Inlet; three sons, William Henry “Red” Harrison, Charles Patrick “Chuck” Harrison and his fiancé Meridith Millen and Johnathan Mayrant Harrison all of Murrells Inlet; one brother, Thomas “Bill” Harrison and his wife Tammy of Murrells Inlet; one sister, Linda Harrison of Murrells Inlet; and two nephews, Thomas “Trey” Harrison, III of Myrtle Beach, & Travis Harrison and his fiancé Kaileigh Lowman of Murrells Inlet; one great-nephew, TJ Harrison of Murrells Inlet.
Randy was the owner and operator of Harrison Realty Co. Inc, in Surfside Beach, where operations will continue by his wife and son, Chuck. He was the past president of the SC Realtors Association as well as a past president of CCAR. He was a Master Mason and a past master in the Murrells Inlet Lodge #368. He was also an active member of Belin United Methodist Church and of the Belin Choir, in Murrells Inlet.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 05, 2018 at Belin United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Alexander officiating, 4182 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 with Masonic rights.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 04, 2018 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
Memorial Contributions in Randy’s name may be made to Belin United Methodist Church Worship Arts Fund or to the building fund/ land fund, (4182 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576)

I remember Randy's campaign for senior class president at Socastee High School when he dressed as The Candy Man and tossed candy to the student body during his campaign speech. He was in my junior English class and was a joy to teach. So sorry to hear of the family's loss. Joanne Langfitt

So very sad, the lode of a friend, fellow REALTOR, and a true Southern Gentleman. I servered with him as RPAC chair when he was state president. I will not be able to attend his service but know that you are all in my prayers. He shall be missed by all who knew him. Such a great friend and person. My heart breaks at this news.
