Pamela Garvin Christensen, 67, of Pawleys Island, SC passed away peacefully Sunday, April 1, 2018 in her home surrounded by her two daughters after a tenacious battle with cancer. She returns home to the Lord to reunite with her parents Donald and Dorothy Garvin.
Survivors include her loving husband Ronald Christensen; daughters Courtney Chipman and her fiancé Don Johnson; Shawna Allen and her husband Marc; Stepsons Mark Christensen and wife Amber: Mat Christensen; 10 grandchildren Stephen and Jay Chipman; Menke and Isabelle Allen; Carter, Jake, Kylee Christensen; Shae, Killian, Elia Christensen. She is also survived by her beloved sister Linda Cook and her husband David and son Beau, Dallas, TX.
Pam was born March 19, 1951 in Cushing, OK. She graduated from Cushing High School in 1969 and continued her education at Oklahoma State University. She held a variety of sales positions throughout her full life, but the work she enjoyed most was her time at Willbrook Plantation Country Club.
Pam was an enormous personality who radiated joy wherever she went. She loved traveling with her sister and daughters as well as spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf, lounging on the beach, any type of adventure and of course happy hours with her friends. Pam was the life of every party and was adored by all who met her. Honestly, there are no words to properly describe her amazing life and the value she added to everyone she met. She will be terribly missed by all...there will never be another Pam.
The family wishes to express, with heartfelt gratitude, the exceptional care, love and support from Tidelands Hospice and especially Laurie Ritchie; you were our angel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Tidelands Community Hospice.

Pam was a beautiful soul who’s obituary describes her perfectly. She was beautiful Person and was the life of the party anywhere she went. I think the sign I’ve seen and bought my Granddaughter describes her very much: She left Glitter everywhere she went. Rest in Peach Pam, you were loved very much from your CHS and Oklahoma friends and will be missed.
