Eloise Anna Stier, 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 19, 2018 at her home in Murrells Inlet,S.C. She was born on February 22, 1926 in Nutley, New Jersey ,daughter to the late Emil Henry & Ella Virginia Falk Knust. She is preceded in death by her 5 brothers and 4 sisters, son-in-law Chris Stanecki and grandson Aaron Stanecki.
Ellie was married to the late William R. Stier of Cedar Grove NJ for over 50 years where they lived and raised their family.
For many years, Eloise worked as a secretary to the Superintendent for the Cedar Grove Board of Education as well as Prudential Insurance Company in Newark,New Jersey. Ellie enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping ,baking ,watching Wheel of Fortune and any sporting event on tv. She had a love for animals, especially the family dogs.
Left to cherish Eloise’s memory, are her children, Susan Stanecki of Murrells Inlet SC & Andrew F. Mayer and his wife, Joann, of Pittsboro, NC; her grandchildren, Shira Rusignuolo and her husband, Brian, Alexis Mayer-Vegara and her husband, Anthony & Elizabeth Zinckgraf and her husband, Benjamin; her great-grandchildren, Isabella Vegara, Alana & Logan Rusignuolo, and Nicholas & Matthew, and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A private Celebration of Eloise’s life will be held by the family. She will be buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway SC . Memorials may be be sent in Ellie's honor toTidelands Health.org ; Tidelands Health Auxiliary Fund , lights of love, PO Box 421718, Georgetown, S.C 29442-1718

YOU WERE ALWAYS MS. ELLE TO ME FROM THE FIRST TIME I MET YOU. I WILL TRULY MISS YOUR SMILING FACE AND SOME OF THE STORIES THAT YOU USE TO SHARE WITH ME. WE HAD SOME GOOD LAUGHS TOGETHER.
