Christine and Greg,
I am thinking of you both and know God's hand is upon you. From the stories you've shared, Mama Rose was a spunky woman. She is no doubt up in heaven kicking up her heels and having a cocktail! I wish I could have known her personally, but feel that I do. May you find peace knowing she is going to be looking after you now!

Our family had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Mama Rose over the 12 years or so we lived next door to each other in the Bermuda Bay section of Oceanside Village in Surfside Beach. Seeing her each morning on the upstairs front porch was something we looked forward to and we developed a relationship that evolved from neighbors to friends. We will truly miss her, and I like to say: When God made Mama Rose he threw away the mold. Rest in Peace. Marshall and Edna Saltzman and family.
