Joseph Allan Williams was born in Detroit Michigan to Ruby and Joseph Williams. He was a truly beautiful person inside and out. He had big dreams and an unwavering work ethic from the very start. He used the money from his first paper route to buy his first road runner. He loved cars and followed his Father’s footsteps in becoming a mechanic. He had a brilliant engineering mindset that was constantly innovating new fixes and solutions. In 1993, he achieved one of his life dreams by opening his first car lot with his cousin in law Jamie and Uncle Bob.His greatest gift though was his ability to connect to others, his big smile, his kindness, generosity, integrity, and his admirable patience. He had an abundance of loving friends. He worked hard and played just as hard. His happiest moments were out on the water, with the music blasting and a Budlight in hand. He passed peacefully at home with his family on July 25, 2018 after a three year battle with lung cancer. He truly was a gift to this world and everyone he met. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Williams, and children Joseph Williams, Susan Zellers(Steve Zellers), Rachel Wilcox and Kimberly Schipper (Preston Schipper); mother Ruby Williams and sister Paula Mcleod;grandchildren Duke and Evelyn Zellers and Kai Schipper;nephew Eric Williams and nieces Kristen and Pamela Mcleod.
