Celebrating the life of John "Johnny" M. Hamby
Thank you for signing John "Johnny" M. Hamby's Guestbook
We have known John for many, many years. He has always been a caring, honest and genuine person and was one of a kind. He was someone you could always count on which is hard to find these days. He once came to my mother's house, Cissy Tadlock, on a Sunday to fix her air conditioner and then did not even charge her knowing her husband had just passed away. We will miss John and are broken hearted he is gone too soon.

It seems like we were high school students just a short time ago, living, loving and learning all about life. The years have fled by so quickly but there are so many special people that when thought about, they bring a smile and good memories to mind. Johnny is one of those people. Sending love to Kathy and family

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Kathy. Johnny and I went through many character building moments together on the gridiron. He was a warrior and I am sure he battled like a warrior over the last days. May God give you peace during the celebration of the many years the two of you built lasting memories.
