Joshua “Brandon” Simpson, 30, of Surfside Beach, SC, passed away Saturday, October 06, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 13, 1988 in Monroe, NC, son of Toby Simpson and Debra Sustar Sanderson both of Monroe, NC.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving wife Ashley Nichole Simpson of Surfside Beach; one son, Ty Simpson; one daughter, Layla Simpson; two brothers, Chris Mical and Kevin Mical; four sisters, Sara Mangum, Holly Mejean, Amanda Autrey, and Angela Rutledge.
Brandon was a member of The Father’s House Church in Myrtle Beach. Joshua Brandon Simpson left a legacy of love. A husband, a father, a friend, and a son; his cup was always overflowing with love and compassion for every person he met. Anyone who knew Brandon, knew of the unceasing love and kindness in his heart towards others. We will remember the infectious smile he had and his kind heart. He was selfless and gave of himself to anyone in need. Brandon loved his wife and family more than anything. From day one of his children’s lives he began building a legacy of love and kindness. It wasn’t until this past Saturday, Oct. 6, Brandon put the last touches on the legacy he has worked so hard at building. A legacy of love that goes on, not just in the lives of his family, but in every person who knew him.
A graveside service will be privately held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Brandon’s name to a PayPal Account that has been set up in his honor to assist with medical and funeral expenses.

Dear Ashley and family:
I am so saddened to hear of Brandon's passing, but he certainly fought an amazing fight and was given an incredible journey of faith and healing that was no doubt God ordained and cherished by you and the family as you so lavishly gave the glory for every day you had together to God. It was such an honor to partner with you during the journey while you were in Charlotte. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Much love to you!
