William “Bill” Edward Campbell, Jr., 57, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away Thursday, July 05, 2018 at Tidelands Georgetown Hospital. He was born January 07, 1961 in Bluefield, WV.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Edward Campbell, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary K. Maestas of Murrells Inlet; mother, Shirley Puckett Campbell of Murrells Inlet; two daughters, Amy Marie Campbell of Murrells Inlet and Lisa Benners and her husband T.J. of Princeton, WV; one brother, Robert Cecil Campbell of KY; step daughter, Michelle Maestas of Myrtle Beach; two grandsons, Brayden Benners and Braxton Benners; and a step-granddaughter, Kailyn Maestas, three nephews, Ryan Campbell and spouse, Tyler Campbell and spouse and two daughters, and Andrew Campbell.
Bill was a member of Belin United Methodist Church, and he served in the United States Marines.
Family was very important to Bill, and he loved them very much. Bill enjoyed playing golf in his earlier years with his father. He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. He loved living in Murrells Inlet and enjoyed inlet life with his wife, Mary.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 10:00AM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Belin United Methodist Church, 4182 US-17 BUS, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 with Mike Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
The family requests that memorial contributions in Bill’s name be made to The American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or to a Veteran’s or Children’s Charity of one’s choice.

Spur.....Rest in peace brother. I will never forget you all the way back to high school football. We kept in touch all these years! You were my brother from another mother as we used to say!
