Andrew Anthony “Andy” Spataro, age 79, of Longs, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Spataro was born in Avella, Pennsylvania on April 13, 1938 to the late George Spataro and the late Rosalia Falco Spataro. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Spataro; by a granddaughter, Ashley Spataro; and by a brother, Joseph Spataro. He loved golf, and helping others. Mr. Spataro was a member of the Grand Strand Golf and Travel Club, and was a Lifetime Member of The Viking Club in York, PA.
Mr. Spataro is survived by: His Wife, Candace Spataro of Longs, SC ; 5 Sons, Andrew A. Spataro, Jr. (& Sue) of York, PA, Joseph G. Spataro (& Sue) of York, PA, Mark A. Alessandroni (& Melissa) of Lakeland, FL, Matthew J. Alessandroni, Sr. of York, PA, & Michael C. Alessandroni (& Kimberly) of York, PA ; 8 Grandchildren, Shane Spataro, Matthew J. Alessandroni, Jr., Lindsay M. Alessandroni, Andrew E. Alessandroni, Joseph M. Alessandroni, Meryl C. Alessandroni, Aubrey R. Alessandroni, & Andrea A. Alessandroni ; 2 Great Grandchildren, Brennan Spataro & August Alessandroni ; His Sister, Stella Giuffrida of York, PA ; & His Brother, Paul Spataro (& Nancy) of York, PA.
A Celebration of Life for Andrew “Andy” Spataro, Sr., will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:00pm at Trinity Church, 3000 North Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that Memorial Contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060 (www.heart.org).

We both have prayed for your family to help you through your loss . Andy has left us with many wonderful memories and some great stories.. He had a pleasant smile and a great golf swing that he shared with us many times. We will miss him but smile when we think of him. Peace and love to you all.

Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Andrew, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. While doing so, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. And as demonstrated in the past, He has the unique ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Notice how the Bible further stress the fact in the faith strengthening video:
