Irene G. Dellagnena, 88, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, at her home in Myrtle Beach, on Friday June 1, 2018. She was born on December 29, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Glen Burdette & Nanetta Adams Brock Gorham.
Along with her parents, Irene is reunited with the love of her life and husband of 24 years, Frank Dellagnena.
Irene had an eye for beauty. She was an exceptionally talented artist who loved to paint and had appreciation for art. She had the honor of working at several universities in biochemistry. In her free time, Irene loved to dance and even taught at Arthur Murray School of Dance for many years. Prior to his passing, Irene loved to travel with her husband, Frank.
Left to cherish Irene’s memory are her children, Deborah Kephart and her husband, Edward of Myrtle Beach & Michael Beaudrow and his wife, Susanna of New Jersey; her adoring grandchildren, Michael, Michelle & Ashley; her beloved great-grandchildren, Ty, Jack, Gavin & Amethyst; her faithful dog, Bailey; as well a loving extended family, and supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Irene’s life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Tabby and her husband Paul, for all their kind help and words.
